SHAWN MENDES REFUSES TO SIGN AUTOGRAPH, ACCUSES FAN OF TRYING TO SELL IT
Shawn Mendes almost refused an autograph to a fan after he accused the fan of trying to sell his signature for a profit. Uh oh. Shawn Mendes was acting like a bit of a Diva when a fan approached him asking for an autograph. The Canadian singer, known for his songs like “Mercy” and “Stitches,” was approached by a young male who was asking for his signature, but Shawn sure didn’t give it away easily. The musician didn’t seem to think the guy was a genuine fan, as he accused him of wanting to sell his autograph for a profit. The guy tried to explain that the signature was for his sister, who was the real fan. Shawn made the guy call his sister so he could speak to her and confirm the story. He finally signed the autograph in the end. We wonder if the girl is still a fan after all of this went down. It was definitely rude of Shawn to react to a fan that way, and seems dramatic that he called the girl to confirm the story. With the amount of money Shawn makes from his music anyways, you wouldn’t think he’d care if his fans try to sell his autograph for a profit.
